Oголошення про Біблійні зустрічі

З радістю повідомляємо, що після літнього відпочинку, починаючи з 10-го вересня, ми будемо продовжуавти Біблійні зустрічі по середах. Римо-Католицька парафія свв. Йоа-кима й Анни, яка знаходиться в Ст. Чарльзі, ласкаво нам і надалі погодилася надавати приміщення в церкві щосереди ввечері, в години з 7.00 до 8.30. Тому запрошуємо всіх кожної середи розважати, ділитися, та молитися Божим словом. Також для тих кому важко бути фізично присутніми, буде доступна онлайн зустріч через Zoom. Посилання на зустріч приходитиме щотижня на Вашу електронну скриньку.

Метою наших зустрічей є присвоєння глибшого пізнання Божого Cлова, щоб змогти ним жити кожного дня. В цьому осінньому періоді ми будемо розважати над книгою Діянь Святих Апостолів. Апостол Павло каже, що походить віра «від слухання, а слухання через Слово Христове» (Рм. 10,17). А святий Єронім, що переклав усю Біблію на латину, у свою чергу писав, що хто не знає Святого Письма, той не знає Ісуса Христа. Святе Письмо це те, чим живе Христова Церква. Все життя Церкви побудоване на Божому Слові. В Біблії ми можемо дізнатися правду про Бога, правду про себе й побачити до чого Бог кличе кожного з нас. «Читати Святе Письмо це немовби прогулюватися разом з Богом по Раю» – казав бл.п. Папа Bенедикт XVI.

Отже, наша перша зустріч буде о годині 7.00 в середу 10-го вересня в приміщенні храму свв. Йоакима й Анни за адресою:

Також маючи детальний розклад кожної нашої зустрічі, ми дізнаємося, над якою саме главою Діянь Апостолів будемо розважати. Це дасть можливість кожному з нас вже протягом тижня прочитати цю главу, передумати нами прочитане, і розпитати в Святого Духа, що Він хоче нам передати. А також можливо підготувати питання, щоб ми разом змогли шукати відповіді.

Bible Study Announcement
We are pleased to announce that after the summer break, starting September 10th, we will resume our Wednesday Bible Study. The Roman Catholic Parish of St. Joachim and Anne, located in St. Charles, has kindly agreed to continue providing us with space in the church every Wednesday evening, from 7:00 to 8:30. Therefore, we invite everyone to join us every Wednesday to enjoy, share, and pray the word of God. Also, for those who find it difficult to be physically present, an online meeting will be available via Zoom. The link to the meeting will come to your email every week.
The purpose of our meetings is to give you a deeper knowledge of God’s Word so that you can live it every day. This fall, we will be meditating on the book of Acts of the Holy Apostles. The Apostle Paul says that faith comes “by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ” (Rom. 10:17). And Saint Jerome, who translated the entire Bible into Latin, in turn wrote that whoever does not know the Holy Scriptures does not know Jesus Christ. The Holy Scriptures are what the Church of Christ lives by. The entire life of the Church is built on the Word of God. In the Bible we can learn the truth about God, the truth about ourselves, and see what God calls each of us to do. “Reading the Holy Scriptures is like walking with God in Paradise,” said His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.
So, our first meeting will be at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, in the premises of the church of St. Joachim and Anne at the address:

Also, having a detailed schedule for each of our meetings, we will find out which chapter of the Acts of the Apostles we will meditate on. This will give each of us the opportunity to read this chapter during the week, rethink what we have read, and ask the Holy Spirit what He wants to convey to us. It is also possible to prepare questions so that we can seek answers together.
